Due to the critical remarks of some people’s deputies regarding the publication “The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation in faces. Reference Book”, the Press Service states the following:

Leaders of the Verkhovna Rada and its Secretariat have no connection to compiling and issuing of the abovementioned reference book.

The foreword of the publication reads that “another reference book “The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in faces”, which has become traditional and appears at the beginning of work of the new Parliament of Ukraine, is in front of you. The reference book presents the composition of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of new convocation in a convenient form including information which, we think, will be useful both for the people’s deputies of Ukraine, their assistants, personnel of the parliamentary secretariat, journalists and all those interested.

We attempted to include sensible suggestions and remarks in the new addition. We shall further improve content and the way information is delivered in our publications.

All the information included in the reference book was taken from open sources: the decree of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, official web site of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, etc.

The second part of the reference book “The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Faces” is planed to be issued in the nearest future. It shall represent composition of factions, committees and commissions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation.

We express sincere gratitude to all those who helped us prepare and issue this reference book”.

We stress that public organizations “Bureau of prospect researches and initiatives”, “Laboratory of social analysis F4” and the Committee of voters of Ukraine are the authors of the project.

Thus, not a single hryvnya of state funds, stipulated for exercising of its authorities by the Verkhovna Rada, was spent out of state funds. All the remarks concerning the content of the reference book should be addressed to the abovementioned NGOs that initiated this project.
